I generally clean my bathroom with vinegar, as mentioned by the previous poster. It cleans, dissolves hard water minerals, and soap scum, kills germs, deodorizes, and leaves a great shine. The vinegar smell dissipates as it dries. For tough jobs, use full strength white vinegar. For lesser ones, you can dilute it up to one part vinegar, 3 parts water.

Another cleaner that works well is Bon Ami--it is a powdered cleanser, but with a much finer consistency than Comet and is gentler, but does the tough jobs.

Comet makes a gel cleanser that is good and less messy and fume-y. Soft Scrub is good, too.

I am like you can't stand the bleach. I have found CLR Bathroom & Kitchen cleaner. It has a smell but not strong and doesn't last long. It removes hard water, soft water, lime scale, and rust. It works quick. Another option the Magic Erasers- they now come with a cleaning product already in the eraser. No other cleaners needed.

yea, pretty much any bathroom cleaner has a smell, although I use Clorox disinfecting bathroom cleaner, it has a fresh smell and is not to strong

As for a toilet bowl cleaner, I have used to works and it does not have harsh fumes, but I find Lysol power toilet bowl cleaner to clean best, although it has a very strong fume, it smells minty.
